What is the Occult Nephritis

Occult primary glomerular nephritis is a disease common clinical type, due to the clinical manifestations of mild or no symptoms named. Occult nephritis patients, no obvious clinical symptoms, but showed mild proteinuria and persistent or recurrent or persistent hematuria, so called asymptomatic proteinuria and (or) hematuria. Most patients with no obvious symptoms and signs, only some patients may have backache, fatigue, gross hematuria and other atypical performance.

The main clinical features of urinary abnormalities, such urinary abnormalities can be expressed in three forms:

1 persistent mild to moderate proteinuria, urinary protein + ~ ++, 24h urine protein less than 1g, Urine may have granular casts, and a small amount of red blood cells <5 / HP>. Pathological changes are mostly mild mesangial proliferative or focal mesangial proliferative.

2 continuous or intermittent hematuria, microscopic examination of the urine red blood cells differ mainly in deformity. Often fever, pharyngitis, fatigue, cold, under the incentive effects of drugs injury, there - too gross for stunned focal hyperplasia.

3 persistent proteinuria and hematuria, and sometimes also appear edema, increased blood pressure, etc., but after incentives, but also back to the original occult state. These patients with poor prognosis, easy to slow the development of renal insufficiency.
